Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Poster - Commissioned Work
This project was commissioned for the Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage event hosted at Fairchild Air Force Base.
I started with a composition sketch.
This project took a bit longer than usual to complete since it included four individual portraits.
Sketch and line art layers to start the first portrait.
Added a color layer
I added a mid-tone value layer and a shadow layer
Experimented with a highlight values.
I tried brighter highlights and added more shadows.
First portrait completed. (I opted for more subdued highlights).
I followed the same process for the following 3 portraits below:
As I completed each portrait, I added them to the overall composition with a flag background layer.
