I made this digital portrait of my daughter and her pet for her 25th birthday.
Process:
I began with a rough outline sketch.
I added some of the line art on a separate layer
I hid the sketch layer and experimented with changes to the line art color and opacity.
Added some flat color and shadow on separate layers
Added more color and shadows
Added detail with croshatching and shadows for texture on another layer.
