This was my t-shirt design submission for Spokane’s Bloomsday 2019 marathon. It didn’t get selected, but I got a free ticket for submitting it and I had fun working on it!
Process:
Rough sketch of runner # 1
Started the line art
Hid the sketch layer
Began the first shading layer
Added another shading layer
Sketch and line art for runner # 2
Hid the sketch layer
Added shading layers
Runner # 1 and runner # 2
Experimented with this look. I painted the background with Adobe Sketch.
This is the final version that I submitted for the t-shirt competition. Completed
