"Gnarled Tree"
This is my 100th post on Behance! It also happens to be my first vector-based landscape work.
Process:
Started with a rough outline sketch on Adobe Ilustrator Draw.
Began line art
Added some detail
On a new layer, I added gray and whittled away with the eraser tool for a woodcut, textured effect.
Finished the woodcut look of the background
Added detail and some highlights to the trunk
Added layer with some shadows
More shadows.
Added color layer to background
Added color to trunk
Completed! Uploaded to Creative Cloud and Behance.
