‘’His eye is on the sparrow . . .’’ I heard this song recently and it inspired me to draw this little guy.
Process:
I used the pencil brush in Adobe Photoshop Sketch to start the outline sketch
I did the ink line work on a separate layer. Although if you watch the time-lapse video at the bottom of the page, I actually did this differently than I usually do. I started adding color before the line art.
I started adding color using the watercolor brush on a third layer.
More color and shadow.
Added the background on a separate layer and changed the opacity of the color layer to give it more subdued hues.
